Tourism has been reactivated in the Dominican Republic. All passengers will have their temperature checked at the airport. "If a passenger registers a temperature above 100.6 °F degrees (38 °C) or presents any other symptoms, airport authorities will administer a rapid COVID-19 test and initiate the protocols for isolation and treatment of the case." There are new guidelines in airport terminals that require social distancing and mandatory use of face masks for both employees and passengers. "Passengers will be required to fill out and submit a Traveler’s Health Affidavit. The government on 8 August that the past authorities’ curfew would remain, without any variation, until September 3 as part of the measures to stop the spread of the coronavirus in the country. They also noted that to ensure compliance of the compliance and the wearing of masks in public spaces, police and military surveillance will be enforced. The curfew requires that people stay inside their homes from 7/8pm in the evenings until 5am the following morning.
