Ñangareko is a program of monetary transfers of G. 500.000 for the purchase of food and hygiene products. The target population were people with needs (workers or not) and those who did not benefit from other social programs such as Tekopora and pensions for the elderly. The population that started receiving the transfers since March 31. Until April 26, 328.045 individuals were notified of their inclusion in the programme. The monetary assistance was been transferred to 224.001 families. With the programme the government is replacing less than 50% of lost salary of workers. The Pytyvo programme consists on a subsidy or economic transfer of G. 548.210 focused on the population that is self-employed or employees that work on small companies (including those of informal sectors). The first payment of the Pytyvo was made on April 15. Until April 26, 890.241 individuals were benefited.
