In an official press release dated the 26th of June 2020, The Government of Sierra Leone announced that schools would reopen on the 1st of July 2020 for students sitting for standard examinations, taking place in August and September. Lungi International Airport opened on 22nd July. Passengers entering Sierra Leone have to have a negative covid-19 PCR test from 72 hours before entry. "Health officials will collect temperature, basic health screening data, and seat number on arrival.
