“Income Support Grants of up to $1,500 per month per household, for persons who are outside of the NIS and BIR systems who have lost their jobs or incomes as a result of COVID-19.” The first payment “was wired to the bank accounts of recipients on Tuesday evening [April 28]”. The assistance represents more than 50% of the minimum wage in Trinidad and Tobago, that is of $15 TT per hour or, approximately, $2,250 TT per month. Here’s the links that explain the extraordinary measures during COVID: https://www.looptt.com/content/imbert-budget-pegged-us25-oil-price-deficit-revised-155b https://www.looptt.com/content/first-set-salary-relief-grants-wired-bank-accounts-recipients Since May 1, the government also launched a “new emergency food support to new beneficiaries in which 30,000 food baskets would be delivered to citizens over four months. Included in the basket would be a $250 supermarket voucher, two chickens, and locally grown fruits and vegetables sourced by Namdevco.” The voucher represents 11% of the minimum wage. https://newsday.co.tt/2020/05/03/fraudsters-tap-into-covid19-grants/ The government has also developed a Rental Assistance program, that “will be paid directly to the landlords and not tenants.” Specific amounts of the assistance were not found. https://www.looptt.com/content/over-85-million-spent-covid-19-relief-date-minister-reveals The executed payments in each program are available here: http://news.gov.tt/content/here-are-some-quick-facts-about-social-support-grants-covid-19-and-how-apply-them

E1: Income support - no income supportDetails
The salary relief grant is specifically meant to give out payments for the months of April, May, and July + I could not find any initiative for extending the relief grant. I would thereby consider this form of income support to have ended. https://www.imf.org/en/Topics/imf-and-covid19/Policy-Responses-to-COVID-19 https://www.looptt.com/content/7-things-know-govt-rolls-out-phase-one-salary-relief-grant Similarly, the social assistance given out to poor families with children is also a one-off payment meant to be enough for 3months, and thus should already be expired by now: http://www.health.gov.tt/sitepages/default.aspx?id=297 Also this press release of the 26 July talks about continued efforts, but does not really announce new spending, so I would think it will only continue to provide support for those who have been maybe late in the process and thus have started their 3 months of income support late. But I would rather think that this is improbable: http://www.news.gov.tt/content/update-covid-19-social-protection-measures However, according to KPMG those who are sent into "technical unemployment" by their companies continue to receive minimum wage or 75% of their original wage. Nevertheless, I would think that this is not necessarily to be considered as a COVID response, but as a normal social protection: https://home.kpmg/xx/en/home/insights/2020/04/trinidad-and-tobago-government-and-institution-measures-in-response-to-covid.html

E2: Debt/contract relief - narrow relief, specific to one kind of contractDetails
Not totally sure. The minister has asked for an additional month of moratorium on rent payment, but I could not find any evidence that it really happened. Anyways, that additional month would be July, so starting on 1 August, E2 should be coded as 0 if there is no other debt/contract relief measure. http://archive.fo/MZCOE
